Skip Purinton has been fishing for the last 45 years. He began fishing on his father’s boat when he was nine years old, and later, fishing with skiffs of his own at age 12. When Skip turned nineteen he got his first real boat, a 22-foot lobster boat, and he could finally work by himself. Not long after that he found himself stuck out on the bay without a working engine. Things quickly turned dangerous with a slight fog rolling in and the night approaching.
