Wayne Hurst is a retired lobsterman living in Harpswell. When he was in high school he wanted a lobster boat. He set out to purchase one, but after a time he found someone who would help him build one instead. They worked for weeks on end, right into his senior year of high school, which conflicted with Wayne’s attendance at school. Wayne started missing school so much that one day he was called into the Principal’s office to discuss his absences. Listen to this story to find out what happened next.
